A person should always consider himself to be half wicked and half righteous. If he did one mitzvah, praiseworthy is he, for he tipped himself toward the side of righteousness. If he sinned, woe is to him, for he tipped himself toward the side of guilt.
Man is not asked to be an angel; that level he can never reach. He is held responsible though, for attaining the maximum he is capable of. Whatever station in life one finds himself, That is the position in which he must sanctify and elevate himself.
The world is in serious trouble...
