Halacha Yomis

A chassid gave a note of request to his Rabbi. He had written to ask G-d's help in breaking his evil impulse. The Rabbi replied: You want to break impulses? You will break your back and your hip, yet you will not break an impulse. But if you pray and learn and work in all seriousness, the evil in your impulses will vanish of itself.
It is not enough for him who gives to the needy, to do this in the spirit of holiness. The needy must take in the spirit of holiness. It is not enough to give in the name of G-d. What is received must be also in the name of G-d.
From the child you can learn three things: He is happy for no particular reason. Never for a moment is he idle. When he needs something, he demands it vigorously.
The world is in serious trouble...

Please sign up to say a portion of Tehillim daily.
We are trying to have the whole Sefer Tehillim said daily as a z'chus for the safety of the Jews in Eretz Yisroel.
